This is an invitation for those who love the adventure, the wildlife and the long walks, the water sports and the good food in a natural setting of lush beauty.

 

Itinerary

Day 1:  San Jose – Golfo Dulce
This morning we will take a local 45min flight to Golfito. From there, we will meet you at the airport and transport you by our boat (approximately 20 minutes) across the Golfo Dulce to Playa Nicuesa Rainforest Lodge. You may spend the rest of the day at your leisure, walking around or enjoying your hotel facilities. There are unlimited self-guided hikes, use of kayaks, snorkeling and fishing equipment at no additional charge during your stay. (B) (L) (D)

Day 2: Hiking and Wildlife Viewing
You’ll go for a guided hike tour across the nearby rainforest. The property abuts the Piedras Blancas National Park. Several private trails on the preserve connect with trails in the national park. Since access to the park is through private properties accessible by boat only, you can be guaranteed little to no encounters with other people… making your experience truly one-with-nature. Day 3: Hiking and Wildlife Viewing
Enjoy a day in the rainforest by horseback. Half-day and full-day guided trips can be arranged to a variety of locations including many hidden waterfalls in the area. (B) (L) (D)

Day 4: Hiking and Wildlife Viewing
All does not have to be about activity. Please feel free to grab a beach chair or hammock and enjoy the tropics from one of our many peaceful spots! (B) (L) (D)

Day 5: Return to San José
During the morning, transportation will be provided to the Golfito airport for the domestic flight back to San José. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel or connect with our shuttle for another Tropical destination. (B)
