Arrival to Bijagua, small typical town between the Tenorio and the Miravalles Volcanoes, a peaceful place inhabited by warm and friendly people; Bijagua is the gate to the Volcán Tenorio National Park. At the arrival to the hotel, you can visit the town, take a light walk around the hotel or relax and enjoy of a wonderful bath in a Jacuzzi with the spectacular view of the valley. Lodging. (B) 

 

Breakfast  and Tour to the Volcán Tenorio National Park, where we’ll start the hike to Río Celeste; this is a hike for people well fit, where we will walk through the secondary forest and later to the cloud forest, until we found the colorful spectacle of Río Celeste. We’ll find the Blue Lake with boiling waters and the “teñideros” (dyers), where the water loses its natural color to change in the deep light blue that makes it unique. Take a deep bathe in the thermal waters and enjoy a delicious snack. Later you will discover one of the most spectacular waterfalls in the world: the Río Celeste Waterfall. At the end of the tour, enjoy a typical lunch and return to the hotel, where you can see the sunset between the two volcanoes. (B) (L)
