Itinerary

Day 1:  San Jose - Tamarindo
Today  you will depart San José for the 5 hour drive to Tamarindo, one of the most popular beaches in the North Pacific Coast. Depending on the time of arrival, you may spend the afternoon at leisure, browsing around the town and feeling the local culture. (B)

Day 2: Beach and Adventure
Today, you will embark on a boat trip into the estuary that offers the chance to observe rare and abundant wildlife while learning about the unique ecosystem of the mangrove forest. After the tour, you can spend the rest of the afternoon relaxing by the pool, sunbathing, swimming or just rest! (B)

Day 3: Beach and Adventure
Take any other optional tour such as horseback riding, turtle tours (available from October to March), natural history walks, snorkeling and scuba diving, canopy tours and sport fishing. (B)

Day 4: Beach and Adventure
At your pace… relaxing… enjoying life. (B)

Day 5: Return to San José
Private shuttle service back to San José to fly home, or connect to take a different package option. (B)
