COCO 'S ISLAND (National Park)

Located over 550 km away from the Pacific coast of Costa Rica, Coco Island is the paradise for divers. It has the most beautiful ocean floor of the world and is home of the largest fish and mammals a diver could ever encounter. The 97,000 ha of protected waters are full of coral reefs sheltering more than 300 species of fish including countless hammerhead sharks, whale sharks and manta rays. The island is scattered with rivers and waterfalls that flow into the sea at times, but is only accessible to divers who come to register before returning to their boat.
