DAY 1

6:00-7:00 am Pick up from most hotels in San José. If you come from another area, please indicate to arrange a meeting point.

08:00 am Stop for typical Costa Rican breakfast at the Restaurant in Guápiles

09:00 am Departure to Pavona or Caño Blanco (depends on water level)

10:30 - 11:00 am Time of arrival at the dock, time to board the boats for the trip to Tortuguero

1:15-1:30 pm Arrival at the Lodge. Lunch at the restaurant

03:00 pm Visit to the town of Tortuguero; Get to know the way of life of the inhabitants of the area

05:00 pm Return to the hotel and free time to enjoy the pool, jacuzzi and surroundings

07:30 pm Dinner at the hotel. Optional tour at night to search for the Green Turtle (during spawning season from July to September)

DAY 2

6:00 am. Boat tour through the canals of Tortuguero.

8:00 am. Breakfast in the hotel restaurant.

9:00 am. Meeting at the dock for boat departure back to San José.

11:00 am. Arrival to Caño Blanco or Pavona. And boarding the bus for the return trip to San José.

1:00 pm. Lunch included at a Restaurant in Guápiles.

1:45 – 2:00 p.m. Departure to San José, or to the South Caribbean (Puerto Viejo or Cahuita, Sarapiqui or Arenal (La Fortuna))

3:30 – 4:00 p.m. Time of arrival in San José and your hotel.

• The order and/or route of the itinerary may change due to weather conditions.

• Luggage is limited to 25 pounds per person on all packages, however; If the client brings medium-sized luggage and a carry-on briefcase, even if its weight is greater, they can carry it without problem.

• Entrance fee to Tortuguero National Park ($15.00 per person), alcoholic beverages, soft drinks or bottled water
